Job summary

BTS Bioenergy USA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support daily sample collection, analysis, and reporting within the Process Technology group. You will work closely with Operations to coordinate testing, maintain equipment, and ensure data quality in a clean, safe lab environment.

You will perform QA/QC procedures, calibrate instruments, manage supplies, and ensure testing complies with EPA and Standard Methods protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience in water, wastewater, anaerobic digestion, or renewable natural gas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, preserve, and analyze samples according to procedures and testing schedules.
• Perform routine laboratory analyses and record results.
• Notify deviations or compliance concerns to team leads.
• Assist with trend analysis and data interpretation for process optimization.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory and ensure safe, compliant operation.
