Job summary

Envirogen Technologies in Memphis is seeking a Sampling and Lab Technician to support water testing and laboratory operations. You will prepare samples, perform routine tests, and maintain accurate records in a hands-on lab environment.

The role emphasizes safety, precision, and collaboration with lab colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations. A high school diploma or GED is required; additional biology/chemistry education is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory Science or related field is advantageous.
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label and process samples for testing and analysis.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols.
• Record, analyse and maintain accurate data and test results.
• Operate, calibrate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Monitor laboratory inventory and assist with ordering supplies and materials.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, regulations and quality standards.
