Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Wastewater Lab Technician for a full-time second-shift role in Houston, TX. The position involves sample reception, chemical and physical analyses of wastewater, and ensuring compliance with city, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three hours of college-level chemistry or equivalent wastewater experience preferred.
One year or more as a laboratory technician preferred (environmental, wastewater, or industrial setting).

Responsibilities

Receive incoming trucks and verify information on offloading tickets and manifests.
Perform routine chemical and physical analyses of wastewater/industrial water samples to ensure regulatory compliance.
Prepare solutions, standards, and reagents for laboratory analyses according to SOP.
Conduct monthly inventory of chemicals, reagents, and equipment essential to laboratory operation.
Maintain equipment and apparatus used in all tests and analysis.
Adhere to safety practices, EH&S rules, and local/state/federal regulations.
Enter test results into the computer and generate disposal certificates for billing.
