Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three hours of college-level chemistry or equivalent wastewater/industrial wastewater experience is preferred.
• One year or more of laboratory technician experience is preferred (environmental, wastewater, or industrial setting).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming trucks and verify information on offloading tickets and manifests.
• Perform routine chemical and physical analyses of wastewater/industrial water samples for compliance.
• Prepare solutions, standards, and reagents for analyses; conduct monthly inventory of chemicals and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and laboratory glassware; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Enter test results, generate disposal certificates, and manage regulatory paperwork.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

3 hours of college-level chemistry or equivalent wastewater experience

1+ years as a laboratory technician (preferred)
