Job summary

City of Bullhead City is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Lead to direct a staff and coordinate projects across streets, parks, utilities and facilities. The role requires operating heavy equipment as assigned and performing a wide range of maintenance tasks.

A strong emphasis on safe work practices, record keeping, and timely project completion, with opportunities for advancement and cross-training in building systems and SCADA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years maintenance/repair experience and at least 1 year supervisory or lead experience.
• Valid State Driver's License and Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement within 6 months or hire; based on assignment.
• ADEQ Water Distribution Grade III and ADEQ Wastewater Collections Grade I (preferred; based on assignment) and NIMS training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides lead direction and work coordination for assigned staff.
• Plans and assigns work schedules for assigned crews.
• Maintenance and repair projects; secures tools and materials; completes work timely.
• Performs semi-skilled/ skilled repairs and general custodial duties of City buildings.
• Operates heavy equipment and SCADA-enabled water/wastewater systems; maintains preventive maintenance programs.
• Keeps records of work, materials, labor hours, and participates in budgeting.
