Job summary

Gilbert is seeking highly motivated professionals for Wastewater Utility Worker I & II roles. Responsibilities include repairing wastewater systems, operating distribution infrastructure, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The positions require CDL with Tanker endorsement, ADEQ Grade I (or II depending on assignment), and NASSCO certification where applicable. On-call and heavy outdoor work are expected in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years specialized or technical training beyond high school in water, wastewater or related field.
• 2 years of experience in water, wastewater or related field (for II) or equivalent combinations.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on wastewater systems and reclaimed water distribution systems.
• Troubleshoots system problems and makes recommendations for corrective action.
• Operates and maintains reclaimed water distribution infrastructure and logs daily records.
• Reads and interprets engineering plans, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, county, and local regulations.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

2 years specialized or technical training beyond high school in water, wastewater or related field
