City of Bentonville is seeking an experienced Wastewater Collections Lead to supervise a crew, operate heavy equipment, and ensure compliant maintenance of the wastewater system. You will coordinate tasks, train staff, and respond to emergencies while upholding city safety standards.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a Class II Wastewater Operator License (Class IV preferred), and a drive toward continuous process improvement within the Water Utilities department.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Must reside within 30-minute radius of the Water Utilities office to respond to emergencies.
• Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver's License and a Class II Wastewater Operator License (Class IV preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Supervise 1-5 wastewater collection operators and coordinate daily tasks.
• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, and CCTV trucks.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and City regulations; enforce safety policies.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment; complete logs, work orders, and GIS updates.
• Serve as Confined Space Safety Supervisor during related operations.
• Assist in training new employees and developing procedures.
• Respond to emergencies; participate in after-hours standby as required.
