Job summary

City Of Logan is seeking a full-time worker to operate small to medium-size wastewater equipment and assist in maintenance tasks in Logan, Utah.

The role requires knowledge of sewer equipment, safety practices, and the ability to read construction drawings and maps. A Wastewater Collection IV certification must be obtained within the first year and a Utah CDL may be required for the equipment operated.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a standard senior high school or equivalent.
• Wastewater Collection IV Certification within first year of employment.
• Must possess or obtain Utah CDL for equipment operated.

Responsibilities

• Operates wastewater equipment including high pressure sewer cleaning and CCTV.
• Supports crew chief with barricading, signing, and safety procedures.
• Repairs leaks and installs lines using various pipes and fittings.
• Assists in maintenance of wastewater transmission lines and supports Water/Wastewater Division.
