Egis is seeking a Wastewater Engineer (PE) in our Houston, TX office. The role focuses on planning, design, and delivery of municipal wastewater infrastructure, including treatment facilities and conveyance systems.

Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients is essential. Applicants should have a PE license, 8+ years in wastewater engineering, and experience with design, regulatory compliance, and construction-phase services.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in wastewater engineering, municipal focus preferred.
• Active PE license required.
• Experience: wastewater plant planning, design and rehab; pump/lift stations; collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare studies, design calculations, plans, specs, and reports.
• Design wastewater facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
• Perform hydraulic analyses and evaluate system performance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance; provide construction phase services.
• Manage tasks, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
