Job summary

King County’s Wastewater Treatment Division seeks a Wastewater Construction Management IV - Project Representative to administer construction contracts ranging from small work orders to DB/DBGM and design-build projects. You’ll lead diverse CIP teams and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery across infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of codes, ordinances, and contract terms.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience inspecting construction materials and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Administer WTD capital improvement contracts (DBB, work orders, GCCM, design-build).
• Coordinate CIP teams across operations, engineering, permitting, and environmental staff.
• Ensure plan/spec compliance, manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk; conduct QA/QC.
• Lead contract changes, dispute resolution, and project closeout.
