Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years full-time experience operating and maintaining equipment for wastewater collection.
• Valid driver license; Utah CDL learner permit w/tanker endorsement within 30 days; Utah Class A CDL w/tanker endorsement within 2 months.
• Utah DOT certification in construction signing and flagging within 6 months.
• Operator certification; progression through Operator I–IV with certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction and maintenance equipment for wastewater collection.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Assist in trenches, sewer line work, and related projects.
• Train operators in safety procedures and proper equipment use.
• Maintain effective communication with crews and departments.
