Responsibilities

• Operate sewer and catch-basin cleaning equipment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair sanitary sewers and CSOs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the collection system.
• Respond to emergency calls regarding collection system backups.
• Assist Collection System Technician.
• Collect flow data from CSOs and pump stations.

Skills

Minimum 1 year relevant work experience

Grade 1 Collection Systems Certification or ability to obtain within one year

CDL-B License with Tank Endorsement or ability to obtain within one year

Proficient in personal computer and software usage

Completed training for confined space entry

Completed eight-hour Hazmat training

First aid/CPR training

High School diploma or equivalent

Education

High School diploma or certified equivalent
