Requires High School Diploma, a valid Alabama driver’s license, and 1C certification (or Grade IC) with computer knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid State driver’s license required.
• Alabama Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade I/IC certification required.
• Computer knowledge and experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pump stations, sewer mains and manholes.
• Perform CCTV sewer inspections and log results.
• Respond to citizen sewer-related requests and monitor systems.
• Use tools and equipment, perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Estimate material needs and assist with facility maintenance.
