Job summary

The City of La Marque is seeking a Collection System Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, cleaning, inspection, and minor repair of the wastewater collection system. You will support vacuum and jetting operations, respond to sewer line issues, and assist with maintaining mains, laterals, and manholes.

• One year of wastewater collections or related field preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain Class D Wastewater Collection License within 12 months preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical labor and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect sewer mains, laterals, and manholes.
• Assist with cleaning, jetting, and minor repairs.
• Respond to sewer backups and sanitary sewer overflows.
• Support emergency response operations and complete daily work logs/reports.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be aware of traffic hazards.
