Job summary

Valence in Everett, WA is seeking a Chemical Technician to monitor and maintain equipment at the treatment plant and pump stations. The role is full-time, hourly, 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm, reporting to Regional Quality Manager.

You will calibrate pH and ORP probes, manage hazardous waste labeling and storage, collect and transport waste, and support compliance through monitoring and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Good communication skills and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and gauges in the treatment plant and pump stations; replace equipment as needed.
• Operate, maintain and repair malfunctions at the wastewater treatment plant.
• Calibrate and maintain pH and ORP probes and controllers; ensure accurate readings.
