Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Easton, PA, is hiring a Plant Operator for its medical waste treatment facility. The role involves checking containers, handling paperwork, moving and unloading waste, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The job emphasizes safety, accuracy in weighing, and reliability.

Shifts are full-time, Monday to Friday, 3rd Shift (11 PM–7 AM). Benefits start Day One, with 40 hours weekly and a non-seasonal schedule.

Competenze

• Experience handling heavy loads in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to read and record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems and safety PPE.
• Willingness to pass a 5-panel drug screen and a background check.

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.

What will your job involve?

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude!!
