Daniels Health is hiring a Plant Operator for our Taylor, MI facility. The role involves checking in containers, weight records, loading autoclave, operating the Washsmart system, and forklift duties on a 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to pass a 5-panel urine drug screen
• Willingness to pass a 7-year background check

• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Taylor, MI. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?

• Consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of 50-75 lbs
• Pushing/or pulling of 100-250 lbs, as applicable to the role
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
