Job summary

Daniels Health in Baltimore, MD seek a Loader/Unloader to support our medical waste treatment facility. You will lift heavy bins, weigh containers, operate an autoclave, and run the Washsmart system while ensuring precise paperwork and teamwork.

The role requires standing for long periods in PPE, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 2nd shift. This is a direct-hire, full-time position with benefits.

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Baltimore, MD. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude!!
