Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 9–12 months of experience in a similar or related position.
• Must have physical ability for heavy exertion.
• Valid Arizona Class “B” CDL required at time of hire.
• Class “A” CDL and/or Tanker/HazMAT endorsements may be required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for excavating, trenching, street cleaning, and delivering refuse and recycling to the landfill.
• Operate solid waste equipment (front load, side load, rear load, roll-off).
• Operate an articulated tractor as required.
