Job summary

The Foth Companies seeks a dynamic Business Development Professional to expand our Florida presence in the solid waste market. This hunter mindset role focuses on cultivating new opportunities, strengthening long-term partnerships, and shaping winning proposals while coordinating with internal teams.

You will develop strategies, manage client relationships, and help drive growth across the Pensacola, Jacksonville, and remote Florida regions, with flexible work arrangements and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience in public or private sector.
• Experience with solid waste permitting, design, construction, and/or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and close opportunities to build a healthy pipeline.
• Lead proposals and presentations to win client engagements.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Develop strategies to address client risks and ensure project success.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients for successful outcomes.
• Stay informed on legislation affecting solid waste facilities and sustainability.
• Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor and coach team members for excellence.
