Job summary

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with driving experience, or five years of related operation experience; supervisory background is preferred. CDL may be required later depending on route needs.

• Experience operating light to heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Supervisory/crew leader experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation crews on designated routes.
• Operate mechanical side-loading and rear-loading packer trucks.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow safety protocols and city standards for sanitation operations.
• Assist supervisor with heavy equipment operations as needed.
• Maintain simple records and report issues to supervision.
• Work in varying weather conditions and on outdoor routes.
