Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Driver Helper to ride on the vehicle and assist the Driver with prompt, courteous waste removal on a residential route. The role includes loading waste, guiding the Driver from the ground, and keeping the vehicle and work area clean.

Responsibilities include operating the packing mechanism, performing safety inspections, and maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers. The position emphasizes safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to ride on a vehicle and assist the Driver
• Safe lifting, loading and unloading of waste
• Professional and courteous customer interaction
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle checks
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver on a designated route
• Operate packing mechanism and loading levers to load waste
• Clean the packer blade, truck body and hopper after disposal trips
• Perform complete safety checks before and after operation
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and team members
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and work area
• Follow productivity standards and safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
