Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations in New Hampshire is seeking a Driver Helper to ride on the vehicle and assist the Driver with prompt, courteous waste removal on a designated residential route. You will help load waste and guide the Driver from the ground, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety on each disposal trip.

This role requires reliability, physical ability to lift bags and containers, and clear communication with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Assist Driver with loading waste on a designated route.
• Maintain safety while handling waste and operating loading mechanisms.
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver on waste removal routes.
• Operate lifting/loading mechanisms per policy.
• Keep the packer blade and truck clean after disposal trips.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and maintain safety standards.
• Manage spills safely and keep work areas clean.
• Meet productivity standards to service customers promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
