Republic Services is looking for a Driver Helper to ride along on a residential route and support the Driver in delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. You will assist with loading, operate packing mechanisms, and help keep the vehicle and work area clean, while maintaining safety and productivity standards throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route.
• Operate packing mechanism and loading controls to lift and load waste.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body after each disposal trip.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and team to ensure timely service.
• Maintain safety and productivity standards on the route.
