Job summary

Solid Waste Services of West Virginia is seeking reliable Driver Helpers to join its waste collection team in Colliers, WV. You will ride on the back of a trash truck and assist the driver while delivering frontline customer service and collecting curbside waste and recycling.

Ideal candidates can stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds, work outside in all weather, and climb on and off the truck. Attendance bonus is offered as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, lift and carry for long periods.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work outside in all types of weather.
• Constant lifting, walking and climbing onto/off of truck.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver on the truck and navigate safely.
• Deliver frontline customer service to show up quality service.
• Collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner.
