Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid WV CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Must meet all DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to DOT drug and alcohol screening as a safety sensitive employee.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to operate a truck safely and follow routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front load trash truck on assigned routes in accordance with regulations and company standards.
• Transport and dump municipal waste at transfer stations or landfills.
• Coordinate with Route Supervisor, Dispatch or Operations Manager for instructions and changes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; log and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and complete required logs and checklists.
