Job summary

Solid Waste Services of West Virginia is seeking reliable Driver Helpers to join its waste collection team in Colliers, WV. You will ride on the back of a trash truck and assist the driver while delivering frontline customer service and collecting curbside waste and recycling.

Ideal candidates can stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds, work outside in all weather, and climb on and off the truck. Attendance bonus is offered as part of compensation.

Description

Solid Waste Services of West Virginia is looking for reliable and dependable Driver Helpers to play a critical role on the solid waste collection team. The position requires you to ride on the back of a trash truck and perform several essential roles, such as assisting the driver to safely navigate the truck, front line customer service, and collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
• Requires constant lifting, walking and climbing onto and off of truck.
• Must be able to ride on the rear step of the truck while in motion

• $12.00/hour
