Job summary

Waste Pro USA, Inc is seeking a Helper to assist the refuse truck driver on pre-assigned routes, collecting garbage, yard waste, and recycling. The role emphasizes safe operation, courtesy, and timely service to residents across various weather conditions.

Responsibilities include loading waste, operating the packer, assisting the driver with backing, and maintaining cleanliness at shift end. No CDL is required; physical endurance is essential for daily 8–12 hour work periods.

• Be able to read, write and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments.

Responsibilities

• Picks up solid waste and places it in the back of a rear load garbage truck on specified routes, often done manually or by pushing toter to tipper.
• Provides courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of refuse operation.
• Ensures garbage and recyclables are picked up and transferred properly; may require back door pickup.
• Answers questions for residents and directs them to Customer Service or government offices for more info.
