Hilltopper Refuse and Recycling Service Inc in Wisconsin seeks a Driver of Refuse and Recycling Truck to safely collect and transport waste and recyclables, while supervising other drivers. The role requires a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, two years of driving experience, and a commitment to safety, customer courtesy, and accurate daily records.

You will operate trucks on varied routes, perform daily maintenance checks, and ensure equipment is secured and ready for the next shift.

Formación

• High school graduation preferred.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required.
• DOT drug screen and qualification per 49 CFR.
• 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to safely operate single/dual axle trucks and perform daily checks.

Responsabilidades

• Operates single and/or dual axle truck in a safe, efficient and courteous manner collecting, transporting and off-loading waste and recyclables from residences, businesses and other facilities.
• Treats customers, co-workers, supervisor, and the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Operates equipment in a manner that prevents damage and unnecessary wear.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining efficient collection routes.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, and ensure equipment is safe and put away securely.
• Advise maintenance workers of any need for maintenance or repairs.
• Clean trucks inside and out as scheduled and as needed.
• Follows policies and procedures including accurate record keeping.
• As directed adjust work scheduled to meet the needs of the business.
• Learns safety protocols and works in a safe manner.
• Delivers containers to customers as directed.
• Protects organizations value by not sharing customer information inappropriately and by only passing concerns and complaints through proper channels.
• Other duties assigned from time to time.
