Qualifications

• Education: High school graduation preferred.
• Certifications: Pass and maintain DOT drug screenrequirements; Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement.
• DOT qualification per 49 CFR; HRR MVR qualifications.
• Experience: 2 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates single and/or dual axle truck in a safe, efficient and courteous manner collecting, transporting and off-loading waste and recyclables from residences, businesses and other facilities.
• Treats customers, co-workers, supervisor, and the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Operates equipment in a manner that prevents damage and unnecessary wear.
• Develops and maintains efficient collection routes.
• Performs daily safety and maintenance checks, and ensures equipment is safe and put away securely.
• Delivers containers to customers as directed.
• Follows policies and procedures including accurate record keeping.
• Follows company procedures for passing information through proper channels.
