Job summary

Republic Services, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a Driver with a CDL B license for Wisconsin operations. You will safely operate a collection truck, perform pre/post inspections, load waste, and service customers along designated routes with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure proper tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service each customer as identified on route sheet.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor; dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and reports.
• Follow safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
