Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver in Ohio to deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers and vendors. You will safely operate a truck, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete delivery documentation while providing courteous service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience driving large vehicles, a valid DOT Medical Card, and the ability to work nights and weekends. DOT rules and safety come first in this role at Rumpke.

Qualifications

1–2 years of previous experience driving a large company van or truck.
Waste industry experience is a plus.
Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain prior to hire.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate a truck and safely perform duties in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers and vendors.
Complete documentation on deliveries and removals.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
Maintain and update work orders.
Interact professionally with coworkers and customers to provide excellent service.
Operate other types of trucks as needed and assist in other projects.
