Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC in Massachusetts is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely process inbound materials and manage refuse through our industrial disposal system.

You will operate equipment such as forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, and related tools; responsibilities include weighing, labeling, maintenance support, and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• At least 1 year experience operating industrial equipment.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment such as forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer and other hand tools.
• Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers as necessary.
• Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor.
• Follow defined industrial and manufacturing housekeeping practices at Reworld facilities and in assigned work areas.
• Exterior site maintenance and improvement, including litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention.
• Traffic control for incoming/outgoing traffic.
• Assist facility mechanics with equipment repairs.
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
