Job summary

Purple is seeking a dedicated worker for our facility in a full-time role focused on waste management and safety. You will sort waste, operate compactors and forklifts, and maintain clean work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and forklift experience is a plus. You will contribute to a productive, safe environment and support equipment like floor scrubbers and propane handling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely sort and separate waste for proper disposal.
• Safely operating compactors, balers, and forklifts in a safe manner.

• Use and maintain floor scrubber.
• Help maintain propane filling area and safely fill empty propane tanks.
• Be able to quarterly pass the waste management physical assessment.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely sort and separate waste for proper disposal

• Safely Operating compactors, balers, and forklifts in a safe manner

• Keep an organized and clean working area.

• Rework pallets.

• Help maintain universal waste storage areas.

• Use and maintain floor scrubber

• Help maintain propane filling area and safely fill empty propane tanks.

• Be able to quarterly pass the waste management physical assessment

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Forklift experience is a plus.

• Ability to work safely and efficiently.

Physical Requirements

Physical activities may occasionally include:

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
