Job summary

Purple Innovation, LLC is hiring a Shipping/Fulfilment Operator to support warehouse operations. You will inspect, receive, store and distribute materials, using a WMS scanner and ERP systems to manage inventory. The role emphasizes cleanliness, material organization and safe, efficient production support.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00a to 3:30p with potential holiday work. Minimum 1 year warehouse experience and strong attention to detail are expected.

Qualifications

• Essential duties include inspecting incoming material and using the WMS scanner to record locations.
• Receives material and transfers it within warehouse using inventory control systems.
• Maintains clean and organized storage areas and loading docks.
• Supports disposal of waste material from production processes.
• Keeps production teams in mind when organizing storage and materials.

They also maintain an organized and clean work area.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Performs random and initial inspections on incoming material by following the Incoming Inspection ProcessReceives material into designated locations within the warehouse using the computer or WMS scanner.Uses the inventory control system to receive, transfer, and manage materials.Maintains the cleanliness of warehouse storage areas including loading docks and outdoor storage areas.Assists in the disposal of waste material created by the production process.Organizes the material within the warehouse storage areas in a way that benefits the production teams.Required Skills, Education, Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.Ability to operate cardboard baling machine.Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsExperience in reporting on key Inventory Control metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leaderships skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachExperience with Six Sigma and Lean Concepts, preferred.Physical RequirementsPhysical activities may occasionally include:Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from weather.Physical activities may constantly include:Communicating with others to exchange information.Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:Noisy open office environmentThe worker is subject to outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from weather.Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week.
