Qualifikationen

• One or more years of experience in Public Works or related waste management work.
• Ability to operate loaders, roll-off trucks and/or light trucks.
• Must have or obtain a Class B CDL within six months; Medical Certificate for CDL Learner's Permit may be required.

Aufgaben

• Shovel and clean facilities and grounds; assist in recycling and waste disposal.
• Direct customers to ensure safe disposal and recycling per policy.
• Inspect vehicles for acceptability of solid waste before/after loading.
• Direct traffic at recycling center, landfill, and related areas.
• Operate equipment: compactor units, utility carts, backhoes, forklifts, loaders, and trucks.
• Deliver, repair, and replace recycling carts county-wide; perform warehouse duties.
