Anne Arundel County Office of Personnel seeks an Equipment Operator II to operate medium and heavy construction vehicles and perform laborer tasks on highway maintenance, waste management, and utilities projects. This position requires independent work, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work outside normal hours and respond to emergencies.

Formación

• Two or more years of experience operating medium-duty motor equipment.
• Valid commercial Class B license required.
• Safety-sensitive position; subject to CDS and alcohol testing.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a variety of construction vehicles and equipment for road maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with snow removal operations as needed.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
• Supervise or coordinate work of temporary crews when assigned.
