The role requires at least two years of heavy equipment experience and OSHA-site knowledge, a strong safety mindset, and reliable teamwork to maintain efficient operations and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely at recycling center, landfill or transfer station.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Document Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop area and store equipment after shifts.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
