Job summary

Rentix Solutions is seeking a Wash Bay Laborer to clean and prep rental equipment, maintain the wash bay and yard, and assist service technicians as needed.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will operate manual and power tools and participate in basic shop tasks as part of a full-time team.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Valid Class B CDL or higher; CDL required for this position.
• DOT medical card and DOT requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.
• Check rental equipment in and out as needed.
• Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts, tools, and materials.
• Perform cleaning and sweep-up duties in the shop and yard.
• Maintain clean facilities, yard, and building grounds.
• Inspect safety equipment and request repairs as needed.
• Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate manual and power tools.

Job description

The Wash Bay Laborer is responsible for washing and cleaning rental equipment, maintaining the wash bay, yard, and facility, and performing basic maintenance tasks. This position may also assist Service Technicians as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Check rental equipment in and out as needed.
• Review proper equipment startup and shutdown procedures with customers.
• Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.
• Remove grease, paint, dirt, and accumulated material from equipment and trucks.
• Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts, tools, and materials and helping with basic shop tasks.
• Perform cleaning and sweep-up duties throughout the shop.
• Perform routine oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.
• Assist with building maintenance as needed.
• Maintain clean facilities, yard, and building grounds.
• Inspect safety equipment and request needed repairs.
• Operate manual and power tools.
• Assist with basic mechanical equipment repairs.
• Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Hold a valid Class B CDL or higher. A CDL is required for this position.
• Maintain a current DOT medical card and meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manual and power tools.
