Job summary

Rentix Solutions seeks a Wash Bay Laborer to wash and clean rental equipment, maintain the wash bay, yard, and facilities, and assist service technicians with basic tasks. The role includes cleaning, oiling, and basic mechanical support.

Responsibilities include equipment check-in/out, safety inspections, and delivering parts and supplies. Candidates must have a valid Class B CDL, a current DOT medical card, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Need a clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
• CDL Class B required; DOT medical card required.
• Manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitude are essential.
• Familiarity with tools and basic shop equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check rental equipment in and out as needed.
• Review startup/shutdown procedures with customers.
• Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.
• Remove grease, paint, dirt, and debris from equipment.
• Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts and tools.
• Perform cleaning and sweeping throughout the shop.
• Oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.
• Maintain clean facilities, yard, and grounds.
• Inspect safety equipment and request repairs.
• Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.

This position may also assist Service Technicians as needed.Job ResponsibilitiesCheck rental equipment in and out as needed.Review proper equipment startup and shutdown procedures with customers.Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.Remove grease, paint, dirt, and accumulated material from equipment and trucks.Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts, tools, and materials and helping with basic shop tasks.Perform cleaning and sweep-up duties throughout the shop.Perform routine oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.Assist with building maintenance as needed.Maintain clean facilities, yard, and building grounds.Inspect safety equipment and request needed repairs.Operate manual and power tools.Assist with basic mechanical equipment repairs.Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsClean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.Hold a valid Class B CDL or higher.
