Rentix Solutions in Antioch, CA is hiring a Wash Bay Laborer to wash and clean rental equipment, maintain the wash bay, yard and facility, and support service technicians as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.
• Check rental equipment in and out as needed.
• Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts, tools, and materials.
• Maintain wash bay, yard, and building grounds.
• Inspect safety equipment and request repairs.
• Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform routine shop tasks and basic maintenance.

Position Objective

The Wash Bay Laborer is responsible for washing and cleaning rental equipment, maintaining the wash bay, yard, and facility, and performing basic maintenance tasks. This position may also assist Service Technicians as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Check rental equipment in and out as needed.
• Review proper equipment startup and shutdown procedures with customers.
• Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.
• Remove grease, paint, dirt, and accumulated material from equipment and trucks.
• Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts, tools, and materials and helping with basic shop tasks.
• Perform cleaning and sweep-up duties throughout the shop.
• Perform routine oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.
• Assist with building maintenance as needed.
• Maintain clean facilities, yard, and building grounds.
• Inspect safety equipment and request needed repairs.
• Operate manual and power tools.
• Assist with basic mechanical equipment repairs.
• Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Requirements

• Clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Hold a valid Class B CDL or higher. A CDL is required for this position.
• Maintain a current DOT medical card and meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
