Job summary

Deloitte’s GPS practice is seeking a Project - Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation in San Diego to guide government clients through transformational initiatives, from strategy to execution, with end-to-end advisory, transformation services, and senior leadership support.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and delivery of executive-level briefings, with 5+ years of relevant experience and an active security clearance; on-site work required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 5+ years supporting senior government, military, or executive leadership.
• On-site work 3-4 days a week in San Diego.
• Travel approximately 25% on average.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor and action officer for the program.
• Synchronize efforts across stakeholders and monitor progress.
• Lead development, refinement, and execution of organizational strategy.
• Advise senior leadership on priorities and options.
• Translate leadership intent into actionable plans and objectives.
• Coordinate across functions to align with goals.
• Conduct research, trend analysis, and assessments for strategic planning.
• Develop executive briefings and leadership recommendations.
• Monitor progress and identify risks, gaps, dependencies.
• Support prioritization of initiatives, resources, and investments.
• Facilitate strategic planning sessions and leadership engagements.
• Ensure consistent communication of strategic direction.
