Job summary

Deloitte GPS is seeking a project delivery professional to support defense-focused programs with financial management, audit readiness, and process improvements. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop client-ready deliverables, analyze data, and track milestones.

The role requires onsite presence in Dayton, OH, and a Secret clearance. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in government or DoD programs, strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and the ability to operate independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience supporting financial management, audit readiness, internal controls, business process improvement, or program management activities.
• 2+ years of experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense programs.
• 1+ years of experience developing process documentation, standard operating procedures, briefing materials, or status reports.
• 1+ years of experience analyzing financial, operational, or program data using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Ability to work onsite in Dayton, OH 100% of the time.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support financial management and audit readiness activities across defense-focused programs and initiatives.
• Analyze business processes, risks, and controls to help strengthen execution and improve program outcomes.
• Develop presentations, status updates, process documentation, and other client-ready deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to track priorities, manage action items, and support delivery against program milestones.
• Perform data analysis and research to identify issues, evaluate impacts, and inform recommendations for improvement.
