Job summary

• Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• Automotive warranty field analysis experience desired.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication; second language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OEM returned parts analysis per Ampure and OEM standards, tracking Stage 1 results.
• Maintain warranty claims database coding to facilitate analysis.
• Handle aftermarket product and repackaging of cordsets with inventory traceability.
• Support Warranty Engineer with corrective actions and warranty risk assessments.
• Maintain MRB area and comply with Ampure WPS requirements.
• Report audit results and corrective actions to management.
• Collaborate with plant teams on data-driven root-cause analysis.
• Uphold One Ampure principles and safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct OEM returned parts analysis according to Ampure and OEM standards to assure on time and accurate results, focusing on Stage 1. Track and communicate results as required.
• Maintain warranty claims database coding to facilitate subject analysis.
• Aftermarket product and repackage cordsets as need. Keep raw material inventory levels and repackaging traceability
• Support Warranty Engineer to track implementation of established corrective actions and Plant Warranty Risk Assessment (program history).
• Maintain MRB area, equipment and inventory to Ampure WPS requirements.
• Assess internal audit plant and regional Ampure Warranty Management and WPS compliance annually. Report results and corrective actions to management.
• Support with available warranty data root cause analysis and action plan development with plant program teams for OEM meetings as required. Propose potential solutions as appropriate
• Conduct duties according to One Ampure principles and values.
• Comply to applicable BICS, Customer and Ampure standards during performance of duties.
• Escalate to direct line management as appropriate any obstacles to achieving OEM and Ampure quality and warranty targets.

Required Skills:

• BS degree or 1-year minimum equivalent workplace experience. Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• 1-year automotive warranty field analysis experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint. Statistical software desirable.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills. 2nd language fluency preferred.
