Job summary

AIG in Jeffersonville, Indiana is seeking a Consumer Relations Agent to support warranty customers and corporate clients in a fast-growing inbound contact center. This full-time role may involve days or evenings depending on shift availability.

You'll be a liaison among customers, clients and service providers, handling claims processes, resolutions, and timely communications to ensure world-class service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of previous customer service experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with various personalities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient PC skills (Word/Outlook/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service/support to internal and external customers.
• Handle inbound service and escalation calls from customers and clients.
• Communicate effectively within AIG Warranty, clients and vendors.
• Organize and process claim paperwork as necessary.
• Serve as liaison between customers, clients and vendors.
• Process replacement claims and respond to back-orders timely.
• Review and approve or deny repairs using claims authority.
• Resolve client and customer claim issues within three business days.
