Job summary

Bosch is seeking a driven Warranty & Repair Co-Op to join the Service Operations team in a hands-on, growth-focused role. You will bridge ERP workflows with shop floor execution, supporting SAP modeling, training frameworks, SOCOS documentation, and lean layout improvements.

The position offers exposure to engineering principles and quality systems, with opportunities to lead standardization projects and enhance repair processes within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Preferred majors: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; other technical disciplines considered with skills/experience.
• Strong analytical aptitude with proficiency in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, data validation).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interface between shop floor technicians, specialists, and management.
• Self-starter with interest in continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, 5S).

Responsibilities

• Time Reclassification: Audit and update labor activity types to ensure accurate cost allocation and booking integrity.
• Planned vs. Actual alignment: Conduct time studies and variance analyses across repair stages and calibrate SAP routings to real-world performance.
• Quoting procedure development: Improve quotation process and tools for efficiency.
• Skills architecture: Map technician competencies and expand operational skill matrix with training modules.
• Document governance: Review and restructure file repositories and manage lifecycle for warranty documents and SOCOS materials.
