Job summary

Mitsubishi Power in the United States (NY) is seeking a Warranty Project Management Associate to support warranty project management activities for our power generation fleet. The role provides hands-on experience in warranty claim administration, process improvement, project coordination, and data analysis, working with the Warranty Project Manager and cross‑functional teams.

You will help improve warranty workflows, support outage planning, and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong interest in project management, process improvement, operations, or power generation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize information and communicate project status.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with warranty claims administration in the database.
• Enter data accurately and generate warranty activity reports.
• Analyze warranty data to identify trends and support root-cause actions.
• Prepare reports and presentations on warranty performance and status.
• Participate in warranty review meetings and track issues.
• Support process mapping, RACI development, and workflow docs.
• Coordinate parts tracking and outage execution activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams on warranty tasks.
• Maintain documentation for warranty projects.
• Support other project management activities as assigned.
