Job summary

Antolin Shelby is seeking a on-site Quality/Inspection role at the customer plant. The position focuses on immediate issue resolution on the line, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring clear communication of product specifications.

The role supports manufacturing operations, inspects and approves rework as needed, and tracks pilot and sample build requirements while working extended hours to align with customer schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 2–3 months manufacturing experience.
• Experience in automotive interior trim manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work extended hours aligned with customer schedule.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Represent Antolin Shelby at the customer, building strong professional relationships.
• Serve as customer liaison for all issues with Antolin Shelby products, providing feedback and documentation.
• Effectively communicate with the customer and within Antolin Shelby to diffuse and resolve issues.
• Ensure customer specifications and standards for products and documentation are clear and communicated to the team.
• Prepare and distribute detailed daily plant reports with pictures and label information for traceability.
• Support manufacturing operations and inspect, approve rework and repairs as necessary.
• Maintain and track critical build requirements such as Pilot & Sample runs.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as directed.

Mission:

Responsible for working on-site at the customer and plant on a daily basis to immediately address any issues on the line.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Antolin Shelby at the customer. This requires development of solid business relationship with various customer employees involved with our products based upon professional conduct and respect.
• Serve as customer liaison for all issues with Antolin Shelby products, providing all necessary feedback and documentation to the Antolin Shelby team.
• Effective communication with both the customer and within Antolin Shelby which includes the ability to diffuse and resolve issues.
• Ensure customer specific specifications and standards for products and documentation are clear and communicated to the Antolin Shelby team.
• Prepare and distribute very detailed daily plant reports of findings with pictures and label information for traceability and accountability.
• Support manufacturing operations and inspect, approved rework and repair products as necessary.
• Maintain and track critical build requirements such as Pilot & Sample runs, etc…
• Performs other duties and special assignments as directed.

What we are looking for:

• High School diploma / GED or 2-3 months of manufacturing experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing Quality Department with an automotive supplier is preferred.
• Experience working with automotive interior trim products is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• This position is required to work when the customer works which may result in extended hours.
• This position may require squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and stretching to inspect product. This position may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
• Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
• Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
• Ability to conduct extended computer work and lead discussions with employees.
