Job summary

MarineMax is seeking a Warranty Administrator to manage the compilation and submission of dealer warranty claims for reimbursement of parts and labor across assigned service facilities.

In this role you will submit pre-authorizations, monitor expirations, appeal denied authorizations, reconcile work orders with pre-authorizations, and coordinate with service, parts, and accounting to ensure timely processing and accurate credits.

Responsibilities

• Submit pre-authorizations to maximize reimbursement and approval ratio
• Review pre-authorizations to ensure timely expiration
• Appeal valid pre-authorizations denied by manufacturers
• Reconcile work orders with pre-authorizations and adjust as needed
• Review claims for labor or material adjustments with service managers
• Ensure parts are returned within manufacturer timeframes
• Collect warranty credits and negotiate adjustments as needed
• Submit accurate claims within manufacturer deadlines
• Follow up with manufacturers for timely responses
• Train staff on warranty procedures and pre-authorization submission
• Coordinate with accounting on warranty receivables and credits
