Job summary

MarineMax in Naples, FL is seeking a Warranty Administrator to manage the compilation and submission of dealer warranty claims for reimbursement of parts and labor across assigned service locations.

You will process pre-authorizations, review expirations, appeal denials, reconcile work orders, ensure recalls are tracked, coordinate with accounting on credits, and train staff to follow warranty procedures.

Responsibilities

• Submit pre-authorizations to maximize reimbursement and approval ratio
• Review pre-authorizations to prevent expirations before submission
• Appeal denied pre-authorizations from manufacturers
• Reconcile work orders with pre-authorizations and adjust as needed
• Review claims for labor/material adjustments with service manager
• Ensure parts requested by manufacturer are returned in time
• Collect warranty credits across departments
• Negotiate or appeal adverse adjustments by manufacturers
• Submit claims within manufacturer time limits
• Follow up to obtain timely responses from manufacturers
• Ensure recall notifications are initiated and work completed
• Research sublet orders and backup information for claims
• Train staff in warranty repairs, parts ordering, and pre-authorization submission
• Collaborate with accounting on warranty receivables and credits
• Reconcile manufacturer credits with pre-auth and actual cost
• Prepare reports on claims, payments, and resolutions
• Continuously improve collection of factory credits
• Hire/train/monitor warranty staff
• All other duties as assigned
